- Provide customer support / continuous follow-up / drive sales conversion by handling incoming sales calls / live chats / engagement with customers
- Maintain up-to-date information in the Company's CRM software
- Continuously update your product knowledge & scan the category/industry to suggest new products/models that can be added to the E-Commerce platform
- Ongoing liaison / nurture relationships with current sellers to maintain up-to-date information on products / prices
- Scan & provide feedback on market intelligence to ensure offerings are competitive on the E-Commerce platform
- Comfort with understanding & communicating basic technical information
- Ability to multi-task &communicate with confidence/clarity
- Conversant with English/Hindi & an additional South Indian language
- Persistence, tenacity & a basic love for engaging with customers
- Experience: 6 months - 3 yrs; Any industry
- Prior voice/chat based customer handling experience (plus not mandatory)
- Not repelled by technical jargon
- Love the high of working in a start-up environment & taking responsibility
- P&L responsibility for pumping solutions segment & establishing Glowship as India’s preferred marketplace platform in this category
- Driving business model innovation; Negotiating strategic partnerships with manufacturers/distributors/dealers & on-boarding new product offerings / sellers onto the marketplace
- Conceptualizing & launching value-added services for both buyers & sellers
- Recruiting & managing sales agents & driving standardization throughout the sales cycle
- Independent thinker with the ability to conceptualize the strategy/roadmap for the category & lead execution over the next 2 – 3 yrs.
- Ability to build & lead the Category team pan-India.
- Task focused / go-getter, not bogged down by constraints & ability to roll-up one’s sleeves to get the job on hand done
- Organized in one’s work & ability to multi-task & communicate with confidence/clarity
- Experience: 3 yrs - 10yrs working with any of the leading pump manufacturers in Sales/Business Development roles in the domestic (residential) segment - Any geography
- Experience with Online marketplaces (related categories) a plus
- Love the high of working in a start-up environment
