The Exide Solar Hybrid UPS 1450VA can be used to harness the energy from solar panels and provide it to run household appliances. The capacity of the solar inverter is 1450VA and it can provide maximum power output for upto 1160W. The solar inverter also produces a pure sinewave AC output which ensures safety and noiseless operation of sensitive appliances such as TV, Refrigerator etc. The UPS can be operated in two modes – UPS mode (providing higher protection to more sensitive appliances such as computers) and ECO mode.

On the input side, solar panels upto 1800W can be connected to the Exide solar UPS and the in-built charge controller has a maximum capacity of 50A. The intelligent charging technology can save upto 5.5 units of electricity per day. The Exide solar UPS also comes with a special feature to regulate the grid power being used to charge the batteries. In case of high power cuts, you can enable fast charging of the batteries through grid power in addition to the available solar power (the maximum current that can be drawn from the grid is 15A). In other cases, you can limit the amount of grid power being used (this will limit the maximum current drawn from the grid to 12A).

This Exide solar UPS is a 24V inverter and needs to be connected two external batteries in series.
