The Luminous Shine 9650 is an intelligent solar charge controller that converts the existing UPS into a solar UPS . Connecting solar panels & the retrofit charge controller to your existing inverter & battery system, enables you to start using solar energy. Thus, you will be able to reduce your electricity bills, as grid power is either not used at all, or, used when enough solar power is not available while also having comfort of back-up power.

The Luminous Shine 9650 can be connected to any 96V inverter without any changes required to be made to the existing UPS wiring. It can also be connected to both Flat Plate & Tubular Batteries and the charging current is adjusted accordingly. On the input side, solar panels upto 5600W can be connected to the Controller

The Luminous Shine 9650 provides you 3 different modes of operation. In the Auto mode, the Shine 9650 intelligently optimizes between using solar & grid power to charge your batteries. In the manual mode, you can either choose 100% solar to ensure no grid power is used to charge the batteries, or, charger mode , to use both grid & solar power to charge your batteries.
