Racold solar water heaters are manufactured by Racold Thermo Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Ariston Thermo Group - Italy, one of the leading players worldwide, in manufacturing and marketing of water and space heating products. Racold solar water heaters are available in capacities ranging from 100 litres/day to 500 litres/day in the following variants - Racold Alpha series (Evacuated Tube Collector (ETC) type solar water heaters), Racold Omega series (Flat Plate Collector (FPC) type solar water heaters for normal applications) and Racold Omega Max8 series (Flat Plate Collector (FPC) type solar water heaters for pressurized applications). All models are available for purchase online on Glowship.

All Racold Solar Water Heaters come with a 5yr performance warranty and a 5yr replacement guarantee being offered for the inner tank as the inner tank is specially treated to withstand corrosion (Duronox Inner Container). The outer cladding of the tank is made of high grade engineering plastic that makes it durable and weather proof.

Racold Alpha Solar Water Heaters:

The Racold Alpha series consists of Evacuated Tube Collector (ETC) type solar water heaters available in capacities from 100 litres/day to 500 litres/day. Racold offers two variants - Racold Alpha STD solar water heaters (without SUN-MAX reflector) and Racold Alpha DX solar water heaters (with SUN-MAX reflector). The reflector is a sheet placed under the Evacuated Tubes to reflect the sunlight falling between the tubes onto the tubes thereby increasing the heating efficiency. Racold Omega Solar Water Heaters:

The Racold Omega series consists of Flat Plate Collector (FPC) type solar water heaters suitable for non-pressurized applications available in capacities from 100 litres/day to 500 litres/day. The Collector in the Racold Omega series is made as a single box with no riveted joints and the screwless frame ensures maximum heat retention within the collector box. Racold offers a 7yr guarantee on the Collectors. The Racold Omega models of solar water heaters are available for purchase online on Glowship.

Racold Omega Max 8 Solar Water Heaters:

The Racold Omega Max 8 series consists of Flat Plate Collector (FPC) type solar water heaters suitable for pressurized applications available in capacities from 100 litres/day to 500 litres/day. This range of solar water heaters can withstand a maximum pressure of 8 bar and is suitable for pressurized applications where a booster pump in the water circuit provides water under pressure to jet showers etc. in the bathroom. The Collector in the Racold Omega Max 8 series is made as a single box with no riveted joints and the screwless frame ensures maximum heat retention within the collector box.
