This solar kit from Exide comes with 300W of solar panels, the Exide SHP solar hybrid UPS (1450VA) solar inverter and 150AH Exide solar tubular batteries (2 nos) along with all the necessary electrical and mechanical hardware (structure for the solar panels, cables etc.). This solar kit is suitable for use at small/medium sized homes (1 – 3 BHK) and will help homeowners reduce their electricity bills and also have back-up power for all essential loads like lights, fans, Kitchen appliances ect. during a power-cut. The solar panels will produce approximately 35 units per month. The Exide SHP 1450VA solar inverter can support loads upto 1150W comes with an in-built option to charge the batteries from grid power as well, so that the home never runs out of power. The solar batteries will provide back-up power from 3 to 7.5hrs/day. Solar panels come with a product warranty of 10 yrs and performance warranty of 25 yrs, the solar inverter has a warranty of 2 yrs and the solar tubular batteries from Exide come with a full warranty for 5 yrs. For optimal performance, the solar panels should be installed in a shadow-free area and the area required is approximately 26 - 32 sqft.
