This solar kit from Luminous comes with 160W of solar panels, the Luminous NXG 1100 (850VA) solar inverter and 120AH Luminous solar tubular batteries along with all the necessary electrical and mechanical hardware (structure for the solar panels, cables etc.). This solar kit is suitable for use at small homes (1 – 2 BHK) and will help homeowners reduce their electricity bills and also have back-up power for less power hungry loads like lights, fans during a power-cut. The solar panels will produce approximately 19 units per month. The Luminous NXG 1100 solar inverter can support loads upto 650W comes with an in-built option to charge the batteries from grid power as well, so that the home never runs out of power. The solar batteries will provide back-up power from 2 to 5hrs/day. Solar panels come with a product warranty of 10 yrs and performance warranty of 25 yrs, the solar inverter has a warranty of 2 yrs and the solar tubular batteries from Luminous come with a full warranty for 5 yrs. For optimal performance, the solar panels should be installed in a shadow-free area and the area required is approximately 12 – 16 sqft.
